E13 SCOOTER FAMILY
This project was to develop a scooter family at three different spec levels.
To achieve the desired look, I took advantage of many print processes.
E13 COMP
The smallest budget of the three, the E13 COMP has the simplest frame. The steer tube is a matte finish with matte graphics to match. Neons are a different print process than normal ink. This, along with the grip tape and frame graphics are a completely different materials, meant getting all of the neons on this product to match was key. The project manager and I worked closely with the factory through revisions until the colors matched within an acceptable range.
E13 PRO
The E13 PRO is the middle tier of this line. Along with a different frame and chrome features, I have also used the graphics to visually elevate this design. The graphics are decorated with chrome foil and PMS spot color that matches the middle range of the chrome.
E13 ELITE
This is the highest priced item in the line. The E13 ELITE sports a new frame, red added to the chrome details, and a paint fade on both the deck and steer tube. The graphics are embellished with two types of metallic inks. In addition, the deck has a special die cut design which showcases the paint fade on the deck underneath.
