Successful product design takes more than just placing a name or character.
Telling the story of the product is especially important with licensed character items.
For this Cinderella bike, I focused on play patterns. What would the kid be daydreaming while riding this bike? A glamorous ride to the castle? Or maybe a hasty retreat after the clock strikes twelve?
My goal was to take the child on a magical journey with the character as they recognize pivotal moments in the story;
like the carriage ride or the loss of the glass slipper.
The swirls and glitter guides your eyes down the frame, packed with hidden details.
The pedal and crank even act as a hand to the clock on the chain guard!
